Zoige grassland

Zoige Grassland, also known as Ruoergai Grassland, is located in the north of Aba Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture of Sichuan Province and is the largest high-altitude marsh area in the world. It is one of the three famous marshes in China at sea level of 3,300 m. (10,826.8 ft.) to 3,600 m. (11,811 ft.). Many small blue lakes scattered in green grassland with high and wide visibility. As one of the famous Sichuan tourist attractions, Zoige Grassland looks like a magnificent brilliant emerald inlaid in the border of the northwestern Sichuan Province. It is one of the famous places to visit in China with lots of unique and charming natural landscapes.

The main draw here are the grasslands and glimpse the offer into traditional, nomadic Tibetan culture. Zoige Grassland is a mystic land with many Sichuan tourist attractions which are the wonderful places to visit in China. The first turning of nine Yellow River turnings, Baxi Meeting Site, the Ancient Panzhou Ruins, Namuo Gorges with green mountains and strange stones are famous scenery spots to visit in Zoige Grassland. When you travel to Sichuan, you also can visit Jiuzhaigou National Park, Huanglong Park and Miyaluo Scenic Area.

As one of the charming places to visit in China, the climate in Zoige Grassland is very cold in the year round. The annual average temperature there is around 0 Celsius degrees (32 Fahrenheit degrees) to 2 Celsius degrees (35.6 Fahrenheit degrees). Travelers should bring some coats and sweaters to fend off the cold. If you are interested in the Northern Sichuan tour, please look at Northern Sichuan Aba for more information.

The best time to view the wildflowers of Roige Grassland is between July and early September because the snow will not dissolve in early spring. At this time, you cannot only spend your time in enjoying the fantastic scenery, but also ride horse in the vast grassland. Strolling in the Zoige Grassland where herders take their yak and sheep to feed on the lush, green meadows should be wonderful thing to get close the nature.
