Best things to do in Chengdu – spend a day with the giant panda

Tourism Bureau of Chengdu has teamed up with CHENGDOO citylife, GoChengdoo.com  and Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding have joined hands to provide a free one day panda tour at Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding.

What you can do at the panda research center?

Your one-day panda tour includes the entrance ticket to the base, your lunch, tea time and the chance to take photos of the Giant Pandas.

Normally, you have to pay 58 RMB for entrance fee with no lunch and China tea tasting experience. Now they are all free of charge, but only for the first 50 people who R.S.V.P.

This excellent experience will bring your eyesight to a world of black and white balls of fluff. This naughty, stubborn but adorable Giant Pandas can always grasp your attention! This picture shows one Giant Panda is playing Kung Fu? He wants to be a hero to save the world? Maybe he just woke up and stretching his arms? If you take a panda tour and plan to travel in Sichuan, you will be absorbed with their playful nature by this adorable creature!

Want to take your own photos? No problem! You are free to take photos of these giant black and white balls! If you post your photos in the worldwide online photography competition hosted by Panda Home, which is the new website of Chengdu Culture and Tourism Group, you will get a chance to win 10,000 RMB  in cash in total (First Prize 5,000 RMB , Second Prize 3,000 RMB  and The Third Prize 2,000 RMB ). Contest is open till Oct 2012 and all photos works will be voted online.

Departure:

Transfer by buses from the Kempinski Hotel (42 Renmin Nan Lu, Sect. 4) at 8AM and with a return bus between 3-4 P.M.

    1. Children under the age of 10 are not available allowed due to insurance policies.
    2. If you change your plan or can’t take part in the event for some reasons, please inform in advance.
