Traveling to Tibet has never been easier with WindhorseTour’s 2012’s group tour departure dates recently announced. These popular tours to Tibet will bring travelers to all of the most popular sites in the world’s highest locale (Tibetan Plateau). With five different packages ranging from a short (4) day trip to Lhasa to an (8) day Everest Base Camp and Katmandu; covering all the major places of interest on the plateau. The tours include spending four days exploring the ancient capital of Lhasa and can be easily expand to allow for more time to enjoy Lhasa or near by Namtso Lake. For the more cultural focused traveler, eight days is plenty of time to enjoy the historic towns of Shingatse and Gyantse. The other two tour’s are for more adventure seeking travelers; both taking in the Mount Everest base camp (EBC), with one going all the way to Nepal.
