Tibet Receives First Largest Inbound Tour Group This Winter
Resource from China Tibet Online: A group of 70 tourists from the U.K., Australia, Canada, Finland and other countries arrived at Lhasa Train station by Train T 165 on Oct. 31. As the first largest inbound tour group this winter, they will enjoy the unique and glamorous scenery on the Tibetan Plateau in winter.
Generally, the winter tourist season starts from November and ends in end of March in the following year. Tourism in Tibet is also seasonally fluctuant due to geographical conditions. It is reported that 90% of the tourists choose to travel to Tibet between May and October to avoid the cold plateau weather. However, local departments concerned are also well-prepared to provide quality service to promote winter tourism in Tibet.
