Panda fact - modern distribution

According to investigation, presently there are no more than 1,000 giant pandas living in the southern side of Qinling Mountains, Mingshan Mountains, Qionglai Mountains, Major-Minor Xiangling Mountains and Liangshan Mountains, and they are divided into about 20 isolated genus groups. Due to the constant felling of the forest, during 50s to 90s, merely 40 years, 4/5 of the habitat of giant panda has already been devoured. The situation caused great threatening for the survival of giant panda.
