Tropical Botanical Garden is a gourd-shaped peninsula totally surrounded by the Luosuo River, a branch of the Mekong River. The area belongs to the tropical climate with an annual temperature of 21 C (70 F), which provide delightful natural condition for the survive of all the topical plants.
Going across a drawbridge over the Luosuo River, you will get the first sight of the garden with many high subtropical arbors growing on both sides of the road.

The whole Tropical Botanical Garden can be divided into thirteen special plants sections including the tropic fruit trees section, bamboo section, palm section, water plants section, national plants section, medicinal plants section, kapur section, spice berries section, rare plants section, banyans section and the famous flower and tree section.
With all these tropical flowers, beautiful landscapes, dense ethnic flavor and rich scientific substance, the Garden has been designated as a national-level tourist scenic spot since 1991.
Every year, more than 250,000-300,000 tourists will come here and a tourist souvenir market and the Cultural Museum of Forest Ethnobotany have been built, which enable tourists to savor the great beauty of the natural wonders.
