Jiuzhaigou Valley – a fairy tale world in autumn

A legend about Jiuzhaigou Vally goes like this. Long, long ago one deity of mountain named Dago had a crush on the goddess Semo. One day he gave a mirror that was made from wind and cloud to Semo. Unfortunately, the devil appeared and cast his covetous eyes on the mirror. During the flight, the mirror slide from Semo’s hands which was broken into 114 pieces, then they fell down to earth and turned in to 114 colorful lakes. These lakes look exactly like huge crystal mirrors. Since this time, we have a fairy-tale world, this earth wonderland that is know as Jiuzhaigou Valley.

Jiuzhaigou Valley is a magical world having dream like scenery. It features breathtaking views by its fabled blue and green lakes, spectacular waterfalls, snow-covered mountains, verdant forests, narrow conic karst land forms, its unique wildlife and the folk customs of the Tibetan and Qiang people.

Autumn comes just like a magical brush; it draws indiscriminately crimson, pink, purple, dark green for Jiuzhaigou Vally. Autumn is the most charming season of Jiuzhaigou Valley as it is most abundant in colors when the leaves turn yellow or red and strike a lively contrast with its clear and emerald waters…

Nowadays, Jiuzhai Vally is popular among young and old, especially for lovers. They usually come to Jiuzhaigou to have their fabulous wedding photos taken. I believe the collection of their wonderful memory will last forever in their life. I am dreaming to do that one day in future.
