Located at 24 km. (15 mi.) northeast of the city center, Kunming Changshui International Airport, also known as the New Kunming Airport, is the primary Kunming Airport when you travel to Yunnan. Kunming Changshui International Airport came into operation on June 18th, 2012, which is the second largest terminal building in China. There are two terminals in this Kunming airport. Terminal 2 is still under construction and is expected to be completed before 2020.
