Itinerary
This trip includes visits to the major tourist attractions in Kathmandu like Pashupatinath temple, Kumari temple, Swayambhunath, Boudhanath, etc. It also includes visits to the famous sightseeing places in Bhaktapur and Patan, followed by an overnight stay in Nagarkot, where you will see the awesome sunrise and sunset views, along with breathtaking views of snow-capped Himalayan peaks. Amidst the rich cultural setting and grandeur of nature, you can have the most blissful moments during this tour. Here, you experience an amazing journey into the beauty and significances of Nepalese culture and tradition.
Arrive in Kathmandu, you will be met, assisted and greeted by our tour officer who will escort you in chauffer driven vehicle to your hotel. The representative will help you check-in at the hotel and will be brief you about your daily activities. B=breakfast
Morning visit Buddhist stupa of Boudhanath and one of the most sacred Hindu Temples - Pashupatinath. After visiting these places, you will visit Bhaktapur, an ancient city housing unique culture, tradition, art, finest craftsmanship. Here you visit Lion Gate, Golden Gate, Art Gallery, Statue of King Bhupatindra, Nyatapola (5 storeys) Temple, fifty-five windowed Malla Palace, other historical monuments. Then drive about 45-minutes to Nagarkot, where one gets breathtaking panoramic views of Mt. Everest, Manaslu and Gauri Shankar. Nagarkot accommodates finest of resorts, hotels, restaurants, cafes. This evening you will stay at one of the best resort or hotel in Nagarkot. Nagarkot is most popular for its magnificent sunset and sunrise views and enchanting weather.
After the unforgettable sunrise view in Nagarkot, you return to Kathmandu. Thereafter, you resume your sightseeing tour in other exotic locals like Kathmandu Durbar Square and Kumari temple. Kumari - the Living Virgin Goddess of Hindu religion is chosen from a Newari Shakya family. Kumari temple lies in the vicinity of Kathmandu Durbar Square. Kathmandu Durbar Square showcases medieval culture of Nepal and architectural excellence.
Patan lies 5km South-East of Kathmandu by Bagmati River. Here you visit Patan Durbar Square, Mahaboudha Temple, Kumbeshwor Temple, Krishna Temple, Golden Temple which is the beauty and richness of Nepalese culture. After Patan, you are taken to Swayambhunath. The Stupa of Swayambhunath is the attraction point and it epitomizes Buddhism for Buddhist sect. The majestic 360-degree view of the entire Kathmandu valley mesmerizes visitors. The rest of the day is free at leisure.
Morning transfer to airport to fly home or transfer to the border for your further trip in Tibet.
