Itinerary
This 5 day trip will take you to see three of the most popular sightseeing attractions in Kathmandu valley and around - Kathmandu, Nagarkot and Dhulikhel. In Kathmandu you will visit some exotic sites such as Pashupatinath temple, Boudhanath stupa and Swoyambhunath. Besides Kathmandu highlights, you will also visit the cultural and historical cities Bhaktapur and Patan, afterwards drive to Nagarkot. At Nagarkto, you will see the most fascinating and mesmerizing view of the sunrise. After Nagarkot, head to Dhulikhel. Treading along the unexplored trails of Dhulikhel can achieve a very exhilarating and enriching experience.
Upon arrival at Kathmandu airport, you will be greeted by our tour officer who will escort you in chauffer driven vehicle to your hotel. The representative will help you check-in at the hotel and will be brief you about your daily activities. B=breakfast
After breakfast, you will visit Swoyambhunath, which offers a majestic view of the entire Kathmandu valley. Stupa of Swoyambhunath epitomizes Buddhism. Afterward, you will be guided along with the interesting places around Patan, like Patan Durbar Square, Mahaboudha Temple, Kumbeshwor temple, Krishna Temple, Golden Temple, etc. You will also get to visit the handicraft center in Patan. After lunch, drive to visit Boudhanath and Pashupatinath temple. At Boudhanath, you will gain a valuable insight into Buddhism, which makes you feel as if you have just been to a spiritual journey. Pashupatinath is a Hindu temple.
Today you will visit Bhaktapur where you will witness unique culture and finest display of craftsmanship. Bhaktapur is the only place in Nepal which has remained untouched by western culture. Lion Gate, Golden Gate, Art Gallery, Statue of King Bhupatindra, Nyatapola Temple and fifty-five windowed Malla Palace are the living pride of Bhaktapur and you will tour around all these places. After lunch head towards Nagarkot. On your way to Nagarkot breathtaking panoramic Himalayan views of Mt. Everest, Manaslu and Gauri Shankar will have you completely smitten. Nagarkot accommodates finest of resorts, hotels, restaurants, cafes. You will spend your night at one of the best resort or hotel in Nagarkot. Nagarkot is most popular for its magnificent sunset and sunrise views, along with its lovely weather.
You wake up early in the morning to view nature at its best, as the most heavenly sight of sunrise rejuvenates your senses. You spend your day amidst the natural surroundings of Nagarkot. After you have your share of experiencing the magic of Nagarkot, you are guided along the hiking trails to Dhulikhel, A delightful place renowned for its traditional buildings, the continuing Newari lifestyle and breathtaking views of the snowy Himalaya. Some very pleasant short treks can be done in the area.
