Arrival in Beijing
Welcome to Beijing! Your private driver will meet you at the airport or train station and transfer you to your hotel. After check-in, relax at the hotel or take a short walk nearby to get your first feel for the city.

Note: Pickup is included from Beijing Capital International Airport (PEK) or any Beijing train station. Pickup from Beijing Daxing International Airport (PKX) is available at an additional cost.
Day 02 :
Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City & Hutong Family Experience (B)

Start at Tiananmen Square before walking into the Forbidden City, the former imperial palace of 24 emperors during the Ming and Qing dynasties. Your guide will bring the palace to life through stories of emperors, royal families and everyday life inside the Forbidden City. Depending on opening arrangements, explore some of its more engaging exhibits and halls, including the Hall of Clocks and Watches.

Continue to Jingshan Park for a short climb and panoramic views over the golden roofs of the Forbidden City.

In the afternoon, explore the Shichahai Hutongs by rickshaw, visit a traditional courtyard home and stroll along Yandai Xiejie. Families can also try a simple cultural activity such as Chinese calligraphy or paper cutting at an extra cost.

You may also add a Hanfu costume experience and take family photos against Beijing’s historic surroundings.

In the evening, consider an acrobatic show for a fun end to the day (optional, at additional cost).

Day 03 :
Temple of Heaven, Mutianyu Great Wall & Olympic Green (B)

Begin at the Temple of Heaven, where emperors once prayed for good harvests. Today, the surrounding park is a lively place to see Beijing residents practicing tai chi, dancing, exercising and playing traditional games.

Then drive to the Mutianyu Great Wall, one of the most suitable Great Wall sections for families. Take the cable car or chairlift up and enjoy time walking between its historic watchtowers while taking in the mountain scenery. For extra fun, ride the toboggan down (optional, at additional cost), often a favorite experience for children.

On the way back to Beijing, stop at the Olympic Green for photos of the Bird’s Nest and Water Cube.

In the evening, you may choose to enjoy Beijing Roast Duck for dinner (optional).

Day 04 :
Giant Pandas & Summer Palace (B)

Start the morning at Beijing Zoo and head to the Giant Panda Hall to see the pandas. You can also spend some time exploring other animal exhibits before continuing your sightseeing.

In the afternoon, visit the Summer Palace, China’s largest and best-preserved imperial garden. Walk through its landscaped grounds and along Kunming Lake, with time for a boat ride on the lake when operating.

In the evening, you may choose to watch a Kung Fu show (optional, at additional cost).

Day 05 :
Flexible Family Activities & Departure (B)

Enjoy a relaxed morning before your private driver picks you up for your transfer to the airport or train station.

If you have extra time before departure, consider one of these family-friendly options:

  • Universal Studios Beijing – ideal if you have most of the day available
  • Happy Valley Beijing – amusement rides and activities for different ages

These are sample options and can be customized based on your family’s interests and departure time.
