Meet your private guide and driver at your Beijing hotel and begin at Tiananmen Square, the monumental heart of the capital.
Walk north into the Forbidden City, the former imperial palace of the Ming and Qing dynasties. Follow its central axis through monumental gates, ceremonial halls and palace courtyards while your guide introduces the history of China’s imperial court.
Continue to nearby Jingshan Park and walk to the hilltop pavilion for panoramic views over the Forbidden City and central Beijing.
In the afternoon, visit the Summer Palace, one of China’s best-preserved imperial gardens. Explore its landscaped grounds, pavilions, temples and lakeside scenery before returning to your hotel.

After an early lunch, drive approximately 1.5–2 hours to Mutianyu Great Wall. Take the cable car up and spend around two hours walking between watchtowers, with views of the Wall winding across the surrounding mountains.
