Meet your private guide and driver at your Beijing hotel and begin at Tiananmen Square, the monumental heart of the capital.
Walk north into the Forbidden City, the former imperial palace of the Ming and Qing dynasties. Follow its central axis through monumental gates, ceremonial halls and palace courtyards while your guide introduces the history of China’s imperial court.
Continue to nearby Jingshan Park and walk to the hilltop pavilion for panoramic views over the Forbidden City and central Beijing.
