Long Lake, the largest lake in Jiuzhaigou National Park, is a natural reservoir which collects runoff water from the surrounding mountains. Encircled by cedars all over the mountain, the Long Lake bathed in the sunshine looks like the jade palace in the heaven when you look at it from afar. A peculiar cypress, one side full of leaves and the other cut out near the Long Lake, looks like a single-armed old man. Seasonal Lake - A Must-visit Attraction In Jiuzhaigou National Park
Zechawa Valley is one of the three valleys in Jiuzhaigou National Park and the longest and highest of the three. (The other two are Shuzheng Valley and Rize Valley.) Here, you also can visit the Seasonal Lakes which are a series of 3 lakes (Lower Seasonal Lake, Middle Seasonal Lake, Upper Seasonal Lake) along the main road. All the lakes have plenty of blue water because of the ample rainfall in the autumn and a low level of green water in spring and winter while the water dries up and turns into grassland in early summer.
