What documents are required to board a train to Tibet?
Generally speaking, your passport and a copy of your Tibet Permit printed in color are required when boarding a train to Tibet. However, to board the trains departs from Chongqing, Xi’an, and Lanzhou, the original Tibet permit is required when boarding the train to Tibet from those 3 cities.
