A few minutes down from the Elephant Hill on the west bank is a small hill topped with a pagoda - Pagoda Hill (Also known as Worship Hill). It is another top attraction near Li River in Gulin. The pagoda was built in Ming Dynasty. On the north wall of the pagoda, a statue of Longevity Buddha was encased - hence its name. There are many maple trees which are planted at the foot of the hill. In autumn, the hillside is covered with the fiery-red maple leaves. It is really charming and striking in late autumn. Although the hill is quite small it is highly regarded for its unique shape.
