What are the lodging conditions in Tibet?

Hotels are available in the major cities such as Lhasa, Shigatse. They are generally cleaner, have better service, private bathrooms and comfortable beds. Some of them offer breakfast and free internet or WIFI access.

In the remote areas of Tibet, there are only guesthouses which are still under western standard, such as no private bathrooms or hot waters. We will always use selected hotels and guesthouses that have better conditions and services in your trip.
