5 days Shanghai to Suzhou tour with Tongli Water Town exploration
Cross from Shanghai to Suzhou, with this five day tour combining the 'oriental' modern with the ‘classical’ Chinese city. Cross the Huangpu River and arrive at the busiest street in China! Nanjing road, full of street vendors, and famous international brands. Nanjing road intersects the Bund, and is a great viewing point of the Huangpu River at night. After you can choose to dine at one of the the nearby restaurants or board a dinner cruise. Depart Shanghai in the morning, in a private car for a one hour drive to Suzhou, often called the Venice of China. It is known to all that long ago, silk has been exported to west through the transcontinental silk road. Suzhou was the end of the line and home to much of the silk bought and sold along this famous trading route. Stop at Suzhou's top silk factory, where you will learn how the silkworm grows and these magical garments are created. Spend the night comfortably in Suzhou to enjoy the night time culture.

Head south about an half hour drive and reach Tongli water town. In Tongli the waterway is the main transportation. For this reason, Tongli is void of war and well-reserved. When you set foot on this land, you will feel time never changes at this place. While you may feel surprised to see this in what is often considered to be a modest country, stop and visit the famed Museum of Chinese Ancient Sexual Culture. (That is really the name) Drive back to Shanghai to spend the night.
