The Dafeng Summit on Mount Siguniang is perfect for experienced trekkers ready to tackle their first 5,000 m peak. The route follows Haizigou Valley, one of three main valleys in Mount Siguniang National Park, known for its stunning alpine scenery.

The trek from the Haizi Valley entrance to Dafeng Base Camp at 4,280 m covers 16 km, taking about 6 to 7 hours of steady uphill hiking. You'll start on a wooden boardwalk that leads to the wide open Guozhuanping meadow, a beautiful spot decorated with Tibetan stupas and colorful prayer flags, where yaks graze peacefully beneath snow covered peaks. Past the meadow, the trail gets narrower and climbs through alpine forests toward Dajianbao Ranger Post, where you'll stop for lunch before pushing on to Jipengzi camp with its incredible mountain views all around.

After reaching base camp, you'll spend a full day resting and adjusting to the altitude with a short practice hike on the summit trail. The next morning, you'll wake well before sunrise for the summit push, a 6 km climb over rocky terrain with fixed safety railings in the steeper sections. Once you reach the 5,025 m Dafeng Peak, you'll see amazing panoramic views of the Four Sisters Mountains stretching out in every direction before making your way back down to base camp and eventually to Rilong.

This 6 day Mount Siguniang Dafeng Peak Climbing Tour offers a challenging but achievable high altitude adventure for fit and well prepared trekkers looking to experience real mountaineering in one of China's most spectacular regions.

This is an easy day for you to enjoy the beautiful nature of Mt Siguniang and help you acclimatize.

In the morning, take the sightseeing bus to visit Shuangqiao Valley, one of the three famous valleys at Mount Siguniang National Park. This valley offers great views of over 10 snow mountains, each over 4,000m high, with peaks, trees, grasslands, streams, and water drops in their pristine natural state, untouched by man. Return to your guest house in Rilong in the afternoon for rest.
For a more adventurous trekker, you may consider to embark on a 6-7 hour trek through Changping Valley to experience the awe-inspiring beauty of Mount Siguniang with panoramic views of its four peaks.
