7 days Hailuogou Glacier and Mt. Siguniang tour

Depart Chengdu in the early morning, drive to Hailuogou through the Chengdu - Ya'an expressway and Mt. Erlang tunnel, enjoy the scenery along Dadu River, arrive at Moxi town in the afternoon. Afterward take the local sightseeing bus to No.3 Camp, overnight stay at Yinshan Hotel. 

Today you will spend almost full day sightseeing at Glacier Park. Morning you will have chance to watch the splendid sunshine over the Golden Mountain(Gongga mountain) at hotel roof. Afterwards trek through the virgin forest to the sightseeing spot to see the spectacular view of the icefall. Also you can choose to pay 160RMB to take a cable car to No. 4 Camp, here you will see the whole view of the Glacier. Afternoon take the bus to No. 2 camp to enjoy the hot-spring(65RMB). Late afternoon drive to Moxi town, overnight at Moxi town Gongga hotel or Garden international hotel.

After breakfast, drive to Kangding from Moxi town, visit Mugecuo, which is also called 'Savage lake', it is the most famous highland lake in Kham, Picnic at noon and horse trekking to the far side of the lake.(horse trekking cost is not included) Cross the Mt. Zheduo at an elevation of 4300m, Late afternoon drive to Xinduqiao, which is known as the paradise for photographing. Overnight at Xinduqiao XinKangzhu Hotel.

Morning after breakfast at hotel, then drive to Tagong, surrounded by grassy hills and snowy mountains, visit Tagong monastery. Afterwards drive to Danba via Bamei, the scenery along the road is absolutely fabulous! Overnight at Danba Jiaju Tibetan village (home stay).

Full morning visit Jiaju Tibetan village, you will have a chance to experience the local Tibetan life and their culture, then drive to Rilong in the afternoon, it takes about 3~4 hours on the way, have a rest upon arrival, overnight at Riliong New Siguniang Hotel.

Morning drive to visit Shuangqiao Valley. In this valley, you can view more than 10 snow mountains over 4,000m high, all the peaks, trees, grasslands, streams, and water drops are completely bared in their natural being, untouched and unspoiled by man. In the afternoon, drive further to Dujiangyan for the night. Overnight at Dujiangyan.

Morning head to visit Dujiangyan Irrigation System to see how the ancient people do the project and how it works, then head to visit Jiezi Ancient Town, it has more than 1000 years’ history. “Jiezi” means small street. Late drive back to Chengdu, end the trip.
