This is a classic four day land tour to Jiuzhaigou and Huanglong from Chengdu. We can either arrange it by private ground transportation or by public bus. We can customize the tour based on your budget and specific requests.

Day 01 :
Chengdu / Maoxian / Jiuzhaigou

Today we will head to Jiuzhaigou National Park from Chengdu by private transfer or public bus. The whole journey will be around 8 hours by passing through Wenchuan, Miaoxian and Songpan. Upon arrival at JIuzhaigou, check into the hotel and take a good rest before the next day sightseeing.

If you take the public bus to Jiuzhaigou, then the local guide will greet you at the bus station and take you to hotel by taxi. All the hotels will be walking distance to Jiuzhaigou National Park entrance.

Day 02 :
Jiuzhaigou National Park Sightseeing (B)

You will have one full day to spend at Jiuzhaigou National Park. With many lakes, waterfalls, and Tibetan villages to explore, you can take the inside sightseeing bus or if you want you can be on foot. In the evening you will have the chance to see a local Tibetan culture show (Price not included). Overnight at Jiuzhaigou.

Day 03 :
Huanglong Natinal Park (B)

Morning drive about 3 hours from Jiuzhaigou to Huanglong Park, we will arrange you to spend about 3-4 hours sightseeing at Huanglong which is very famous for its colorful pools formed by calcite deposits, as well as diverse forest ecosystems, snow-capped peaks, waterfalls and hot springs. To visit this park, we would suggest you take one way cable car up and walk down. Later afternoon head to Songpan or Maoxian for overnight.

Day 04 :
Songpan or Maoxian / Chengdu (B)

Today we will head back to Chengdu.

If you are using the private transfer, then on the way you may stop to visit Dujiangyan Irrigation system, it is the oldest and only surviving no-dam irrigation system in the world, a wonder in the development of Chinese science. The project consists of three important parts, namely Yuzui, Feishayan and Baopingkou scientifically designed to automatically control the water flow of the rivers from the mountains to the plains throughout the year.

If you are going to take the public bus tour, then we normally arrange the Day 3's night at Songpan, so the next day you can take the public bus from Songpan back to Chengdu which takes about 6 hours. Please note that you need go to Songpan bus station on your own on Day 4 morning.

Hi Tatiana,

Thank you for your inquiry! I just sent you a email with updated information about visit to Jiuzhaigou. As Jiuzhaigou has been opened partially to tourists and there are only 2,000 tickets available in every day. And with regrets to share that the entrance tickets from May 1st to May 14th, 2018 are all sold out. In this case, I would suggest you may consider postponing your time to Jiuzhaigou. Please kindly advise, then we can provide you some further assistance.

I am looking forward to hearing from you soon.

Best regards,
Victoria
