- What does my cruise price include?
Your cruise fee includes cruise board accommodation, meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner), and organized shore excursions during the cruise, Entrance fees to the tourist sites and guide service.
- What does my cruise price exclude?
Your cruise price does not include the transportation service to port, pre-boarding accommodation cost at the night before the departure, Items of personal nature are available for purchase, such as laundry, photographs, and ship to shore phone service, beverages & drinks, medical service, gratuities, beauty treatments or other miscellaneous items you may purchase on board.
- How much are children's fares?
Normally children under from the age of 12 to 2 staying in the parents' cabin are charged 67% of the full cruise fare. Children bellow the age of 2 are charged 10% of the full cruise fare, both without independent bed. But anyhow it is subject to be changed, different cruise has different child fare policy, for more detail, you may contact with our cruise planner.
- Are the cruise fare for one person or one cabin?
The cruise fare is for one person, based on twin sharing standard cabin.
- Is it more expensive for one person to travel alone?
No. Single travellers will be arrange to share a cabin with another passenger by cruise companies. If you want your own cabin, you have to pay the single room supplement, normally the cruise companies charge 75% of the cruise fare for a standard cabin and 100% of the cruise fare for a suite. Anyhow, different cruise has different rate policy.
- When can I board the ship?
Embarkation normally begins approximately 4 hours prior to departure. Passengers need to board the cruise no later than 30 minutes prior to sailing. For those tourists who arrive the city earlier, they may put the luggage on the cruise first, then they can explore the city before the sailing. Generally, the cruise depart at early morning which provide the pre-boarding accommodation but no dinner served at the night before departure, so you'd better have the dinner in the local restaurant by yourself.
- How do I get on the cruise?
After you booked the Cruise tickets with us, we will provide you the Cruise Ticket Voucher, which will give you the information of your cruise embarkation pier name and the Cruise contact phone number. You can take a taxi to the port and get the Cruise on your own. When you check in you just need to show your passports. If you think it is not easy or convenient for you to get to the port, then we suggest you book a ground transfer with us, then we will arrange one guide / driver to transfer you to the port. If you go with one organized tour package, you will be accompanied by one guide and transferred to the pier.
- What are the tipping guidelines?
On the Cruise, roughly about USD5 per day per person, this is just a suggested guidelines. Please remember to recognize outstanding service. Tips to shore excursion guides are also at passenger's discretion.
- Do I have to participate in the cruise company organized activities?
No. You can do anything you wish. You can do it all or just relax in your room.
- Can I stay in touch with the outside?
Of course, you can. Quite easily. All the rate-star ships have televisions in the rooms. There are either phones in the rooms. Many ships offer fax capabilities or internet lounges. A certain amount of fee is charged for either answering or making a phone call.
- Are the entertainments free?
Most of the entertaiments are free of charge. eg. first-rate movies, special lectures and DIY classes.
- Are all the cabins on Yangtze Cruise outside cabins?
All the cabins of star rating yangtze cruise are the outside cabin with the outside windows, you can enjoy the view in your cabin easily. Some of the cruises provide cabins with balconies.
- What about electrical appliances?
Electric razors and hair dryers can be brought with you. The Cabins of the most cruises are equipped with 110 volts and 220 outlets. The hairdryers are available in the cabins of most the cruises. In a few cruises, there is no hairdryer in the cabin, but you can borrow from front desk. The converters are also can be borrowed from ships.
- What amenities are in my cabin?
Generally, the star-rating bathroom has such things as: toothbrush, razors; shampoo and conditioner; body wash; Supplies will be replenished by the room steward, upon request.
- I am a special diet, can I get special meals on board?
Low-sodium meals, kosher meals, vegetarian and certain other diet-restricted meals will be available. Dietary requests should be made at the time of booking.
- What kind of meals are served on the cruise?

Cruise company will try to arrange the ships sailing according to the planned itinerary, but guest safety is the number one priority for the cruise lines. On rare occasions, weather conditions and other unforeseen circumstances require a change in itinerary. In these situations, the cruise line staff will do everything in their power.
