Upon arrival at Chengdu, to be met and transferred to your hotel, overnight at Chengdu.
Morning around 07:30-08:00 to be met at your hotel lobby and transferred to Chengdu Panda Breeding and Research Center, it takes about half an hour. You will catch pandas' feeding time, they are at their most active, both Adults and Babies. Later then watch the film at Panda Story Cinema to know the panda daily life, baby getting birth, etc. Afterwards drive to Chengdu airport directly for the flight to Jiuzhaigou. Upon arrival at Jiuzhaigou, to be met and transferred to your hotel. Overnight at JIuzhaigou.
You will have one full day to spend at Jiuzhaigou National Park. With many lakes, waterfalls, and Tibetan villages to explore, you can take the inside sightseeing bus or if you want you can be on foot. In the evening you will have the chance to see a local Tibetan culture show (Price not included). Overnight at Jiuzhaigou.
Morning drive from Jiuzhaigou to Huanglong (about 3 hours' drive). You will have about 3-4 hours sightseeing at Huanglong. Huanglong National park is very famous for its colored lakes. You can consider to climb the mountain depends on your health conditon or take the cable car to Huanglong Temple(150RMB). Afterwards drive to Chuanzhusi airport for the flight back to Chengdu. Overnight at Chengdu.
Morning around 08:00 to be met and transferred to Leshan. On the way enjoy the beautiful countryside landscape of western Chengdu Plains during about two hour's driving on the expressway. In Leshan visit the biggest sitting Buddha sculpture in the Lingyun Temple. The grand Buddha was completed in 803 of Tang Dynasty after 90 year's construction and enjoys the fame of the biggest sitting stone sculpture in the world with a 71-meter height. Carved on the cliff face, the sculpture is well designed with perfect balance and effective water drainage system. You can also choose to have a boat tour to see Leshan Grand Buddha (fee is on your own). Afternoon drive back to Chengdu airport for the flight to Zhangjiajie. Overnight at Zhangjiajie.
Depart from your hotel after breakfast. Take the highest and fastest open elevator in the world to Yuanjiajie, which is called the 'Backyard Garden' of Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. Yuanjiajie Nature Reserve has the unparalleled scenic splendors of spectacular mountains and peculiar peaks. It is attached to Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, but a core scenic spot of Wu Lingyuan Nature Reserve, with a total area of 1,200 hectares and an altitude of 1,074 meters. In this reserve there lies the famous First Bridge. This natural stone bridge, with a width of 2 meters, stretches 20 meters across thin air between two peaks of 350 meters above the valley floor, forming a natural bridge arch. Moisture in the valley, steaming and evaporating; pines around the bridge, swaying and whistling, compose a majestic breathtaking views. Visit Tianzi Mountain after lunch. Tianzi mountain means Emperor Mountain in English, whose name originates from the uprising leader--Xiang Dakun--of Tujia ethnic minority group, is always enjoying the reputation as 'the king of all mountains'. The seas of clouds and mist are pretty splendid, especially when the sky clears after the rain. Overnight at Zhangjiajie.
Zhangjiajie is famous for its mist-shrouded 'peak-forests' that are rarely found anywhere else. Take a cable car to the summit of Huangshizhai for a panoramic view of the mountainside and mysterious primeval forests. Golden Whip Creek, which is named after a whip-shaped rock by the creek, is a deep valley of exotic flowers and plants, caves, ponds and interesting rock formations. Four Creeks Gate is the confluence of the four creeks of the valley. Tonight, you may enjoy Zhangjiajie cultural show - Charming Xiangxi (fee is on your own, 260RMB / 40USD per person). Overnight at Zhangjiajie.
Morning drive to Tianmen Mountain, which is located just eight kilometers south of Zhangjiajie Village. Tianmen Mountain Scenic Area has been designated as the second national forest park in Zhangjiajie. Rising nearly 1,520 meters (about 4,987 feet), Tianmen is the highest peak in Zhangjiajie and is regarded as the 'soul' of Zhangjiajie. There are many graceful trees, karst hillocks and medicinal herbs and plants on the mountain. Tianmen also has its 'four wonders' - Tianmen Mountain Cableway, Tongtian Dadao (Avenue Leading to the Sky), Tianmen Cave and Bonsai Garden on Air. In addition, you will be arranged to visit cultural scenic spots - Tianmen Mountain Temple and the Lingquan (Spring of Spiritualism) Temple. Late afternoon or evening transfer to Zhangjiajie airport for the flight to Beijing or Shanghai, end the trip.
