Day 1 Chengdu airport pick up
Chengdu airport pick up and transfer to your hotel. Have a good rest at the first day. Overnight at Chengdu.
Day 2 Chengdu Panda Base & Jinsha Museum (B+L+D)
Morning around 07:30-08:00 to be met at your hotel lobby and transferred to Chengdu Panda Breeding and Research Center, it takes about half an hour. You will catch pandas' feeding time, they are at their most active, both Adults and Babies. Later then watch the film at Panda Story Cinema to know the panda daily life, baby getting birth, etc. Afterwards drive back to downtown for lunch. Afternoon visit Jinsha Site Museum to learn the glorious Chinese culture of the ancient Shu Kingdom.As a theme park-style museum, it is for the protection of research and display of Jinsha relics and archaeological finds. Late afternoon walk around Jinli ancient streets, you can taste different kinds of snacks there. In the evening enjoy the cultural show - Sichuan Opera at Shufengyayun tea house or Sichuan theater. Overnight at Chengdu.
Day 3 Leshan Grand Buddha (B+L+D)
Morning around 08:00 to be met and transferred to Leshan. On the way enjoy the beautiful countryside landscape of western Chengdu Plains during about two hours' driving on the expressway. In Leshan visit the biggest sitting Buddha sculpture in the Lingyun Temple. The grand Buddha was completed in 803 of Tang Dynasty after 90 year's construction and enjoys the fame of the biggest sitting stone sculpture in the world with a 71-meter height. Carved on the cliff face, the sculpture is well designed with perfect balance and effective water drainage system. You can also choose to have a boat tour to see Leshan Grand Buddha (fee is on your own). After lunch, drive to Mt.Emei, check in and have a good rest. In the afternoon you will be arranged to visit Baoguo temple. Overnight at Emeishan.
Day 4 Full day sightseeing to Golden Summit / Chengdu (B+L+D)
Early morning take the local sightseeing bus to Leidongping, then walk about 15 minutes to Jieyin Hall, here you will take the cable car to Golden summit. Visit the Huazang temple, Golden summit Buddha Statue. If you are lucky enough, you may see the clouds sea and Buddhist Halo. After lunch take sightseeing bus down to foot of the mountain, you may choose to have hot-spring at your hotel or other hotels (fee is on your own). Overnight at Emeishan.
Day 5 Mt.Emei - Zigong(B+L+D)
In the morning drive all the way to Zigong (about 3.5 hours). In Zigong, you will be arranged to visit the Dinosaur Museum, established in the noted site of dinosaur fossils, Dashanpu, it is about 11 kilometers from the center of Zigong City. Together with the American National Dinosaur Park and the Canadian Dinosaur Park, it is one of the world's three largest dinosaur museums. Then visit Zigong Salt-mining Museum. Zigong has a long-standing civilization as well as rich underground resources in China. The city is also called the 'Salt Capital' in the past because of its salt resources and production. The museum to show how people make salt in traditional way. Overnight at Zigong.
Day 6 Zigong - Dazu - Chongqing (B+L)
Set off from Zigong in early morning and drive to Dazu, visit Dazu Grottoes in the morning. The Dazu Grottoes spread across more than 75 sites in the county, and contain over 50,000 stone sculptures carved from the Tang Dynasty (618-907) to the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911). The two major sites are Beishan (North Hill) and Baodingshan (Baoding Hill). Afterwards, drive to Chongqing (117km). Overnight at Chongqing.
Day 7 Departure from Chongqing (B+L)
Visit the People's Congress Hall, a giant traditional building with a large square, where plenty of people do morning and evening exercises everyday. Then visit the General Stilwell Museum, a museum to commemorate General Stiwell during The World War Two. Move on to visit the Eling Park, where people can have a bird's view of the whole Chongqing city and get a general idea of the Yangtze River. Then visit the Ciqikou Old Town, an old town with traditional Chongqing style buildings, tea houses and Sichuan Opera houses. Get aboard for your Yangtze cruise or fly to other cities for your tour.
