Jiuzhaigou National Park, located in the north of Sichuan Province, was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1992. It provides spectacular scenery throughout the year which makes it one of the most treasured scenic sites in China. Jiuzhaigou China is part of the Min Mountains on the edge of the Tibetan Plateau and its elevation ranges from 2,000 m. (6,561 ft.) to 4,500 m. (14,763 ft.). Jiuzhaigou weather is quite different from the city weather nearby because of the unique geography. The Snow of winter starts melting and the roads become slippery in spring. It is not very cold during this time. You are recommended to wear slip-proofing shoes and bring thin coat and sweater. The summer in Jiuzhaigou China is not very hot and there may be suddenly rain. You should take umbrella, coat and sunscreen.

If you travel to Jiuzhaigou National Park in autumn, you will be able to seen the most charming scenery: all colors variegated red leaves and the color forest produces an inverted image in the bright lake water. The Jiuzhaigou weather in winter is so cold that you are recommended to wear down coat, trousers and shoes to keep yourself warm.

Jiuzhaigou China is located in high altitude region where the oxygen level is thin and breathing will become labored. Some people may be susceptible to mountain sickness. The symptoms are lightheadedness, headaches, poor concentration, palpitations and nausea. If you travel to Jiuzhaigou China, you should eat more vegetables and fruits and drink less to avoid altitude sickness. You are not suggested to do any strenuous exercise in Jiuzhaigou Valley.
