How much is your price per person for katmandu to mt kailash kora?

Helen Wang's picture

Hi Jim, thanks for your interests in our tour. Before I send you the tour quotation, please let me know when you plan to do this tour? how many people in the group? Since we don't have any group tour for this itinerary, you only can travel in a private group with your friends or family or you can look for some other travelers to join in your group.

Look forward to hear from you back soon.

Regards
Helen

Hello,
We would like to walk the Kora. We have two people in our group, and would like to join others going around the same time. Our dates are flexible and include any three week period in October through November. The guide books suggest starting in Kathmandu, which seems to be the most resonable from New York (where we will be coming from), unless you have a more informed suggestion. We are fully prepared for any accomodations.
Thank you, KS

Hi Katelyn,

Thanks for your comment. You're right, Kathmandu is a very good spot to start the overland tour to Mt. Kailash, but according to the current policy, it may very difficult to enter Tibet during this October.

I've sent you an email with more details for your reference. Hope it's helpful!

Please feel free to contact me if you have any further question on this tour!

Regards,

Murphy

Hi,

I would like to know if it is possible to do this trip during winter. Late December/early January. We are two travellers from Australia. Could you please send me information on prices?

Thanks,
Kate

Hi Kate,

Thank you for your comment! Generally speaking, winter is not a convenient time to visit Mt. Kailash area, heavy snow will block the road and it's not safe to go.

I've sent you an email with more details and advice for your reference. Please feel free to contact us again if you need any further assistance on our side!

Kind Regards,

Murphy

One of my bucket list things-to-do is visit the abode of Lord Shiva.
Can you provide me details as to how many days minimum are needed for this trip?
I understand this cannot be a 7 days trip - but my company does not allow me so many days vacation hence I want to take the minimum days itinerary trip option.
When is the best time to visit both these places?
My group will be two adults for sure - and then maybe three or four maximum.
Thanks

Hi Ancy,

Thanks for sharing your plan with us!

Actually it is possible to shorten this tour to 7 days, but you need to give up the Mt. Kailash Kora (3-day trekking) and it's gonna be a bit rushed. Anyhow, I've sent you an email with the detailed suggestions and a revised tour itinerary for your refenrece. Please check it and I'm looking forward to hearing your comments :)

Cheers,

Murphy

Is it possible to visit mount kaliash in February and how much is the trip? I am a solo traveler. Many thanks.

Murphy Feng's picture

Hi Bex,

Thanks for contacting us! I'm afraid that would be too cold to travel in that area, too much snow. Generally speaking, the appropriate time to visit Mt. Kailash area is from mid April to early November. So I'd like suggest you adjust your travel date accordingly.

Please don't hesitate to let us know if you need any further assistance, and we're looking forward to hearing from you again :)

Happy New Year!

Murphy
